Uh we're just kinda hoping for the best.
It's bullpen.
I mean, as much as we are struggling at third base with Yorbit Vivas with Oswald Peraza and everybody's talking about Eugenio Suarez, you know, it goes back to what we were just saying about feast or famine with the home run.
You had Suarez, and yeah, he's got the most home runs in the national league, but he also strikes out a bunch and he's up there um in second place with errors.
So it's like you you're struggling with these guys.
guys like Volpe as well who can't make you know routine throws
In theory, you add Suarez and it's like the big blockbuster move, but that's adding another home run hitter who strikes out a lot and doesn't field his position cleanly.
I I think that they just have to go get high leverage relievers at the deadline and then somebody at third base like a key Brian Hayes.
Uh if people are talking about Ryan McMahon, they need somebody that can just put the ball in play and obviously be a plus defender at the hot corner.
It's it's compounded.
It's so many different things.
Uh one, he he's had a couple injuries.
He was diving uh into the outfield in May and and even two nights ago, Meredith asked Aaron Boone about him icing his shoulder, his left shoulder, not his throwing arm.
Um he also wore one in the Boston series.
But like you would you would expect those things to have gone away by now.
Like those start to sound like excuses for the guy.
It's mental in my opinion.

I think it's mental because he's struggling at the plate and then he carries it over to defense where the routine isn't routine anymore.
