And she was in the process of moving into the Gretna Green house out of Rockingham, the famous house that we all know where they live together.
But when I got to Los Angeles two months later and we sort of picked up the dating process and went through all the stages that people go through as they're getting to know each other, the stalking began instantly from OJ.
So the second night, the first night I was in town, I went to visit her at her house.
And she started to tell me a little bit about their past, not too much in depth, but it was weird because the phone kept ringing.
You know, we went out and got in the jacuzzi and we were just talking.
And the phone started ringing incessantly and she just sort of went...
Right.
So we kind of blew that off.
The second night I was in town, she came to one of my restaurants with some lady friends.
We had a big event on Tuesday nights at Mezzaluna Beverly Hills.
It was sort of a celebrity thing.
And her girlfriends had heard about it.
So I invited her to bring her group down and grab a table.
And we were hanging out, having a good time.
And almost immediately, O.J.
showed up, you know, and you could tell by the tone the way he zipped into valet at a high rate of speed and screeched on his brakes and jumped out of the car, came directly in right up to our table and slammed his hands down and stared me in the eyes and said, I'm O.J.
Simpson and she's still my wife.
So that was my first face to face interaction.
Yeah.
And then she started to open up to me as more and more events of stalking took place.
