We're not going to buy clothes that will pull us back or we're just going to eat in a bit more and pull that back.
And just do it in really simple ways.
We don't want to beat ourselves up over this.
Oh, yes, because the excitement is like eating bread is soon forgotten.
But if we are nice and disciplined beforehand, well, hopefully you never get the hangover.
But the best of us can just have that extra good holiday or things ended up being more expensive than what we thought.
So what you do then is, OK, you'll figure out your gap, you work it out and you go, OK, let's let's start filling that gap in.
And you go, OK, well, I mightn't have the free cash flow, the spare money in your account to fill that gap.
So where can we start cutting back?
There's a couple of things that I have found myself and people that I've worked with, like little things like.
If we've kids particularly over the summer, there's little apps, craft apps, things like that, that you might be using or you yourself.
There's an extra subscription, extra, you know, audio book, whatever it is.
And you go, OK, I'm not going to use these for the next few months.
Just cancel them.
And it's getting easier and easier to cancel subscriptions now.
So if you have an Apple phone, you literally go into your Apple subscriptions and go unsubscribe, unsubscribe.
And you just do that to anyone you're not going to use.
Same if you have an Android, you go into Google Play and it's gone so, so easy.
So I recommend anyway doing an audit of your subscriptions because it might be 10 euro a month.
That's 120 euro a year.
