That could pay for your car tax.

For example, and another big one is if you did go outside the EU.

So if you went to the US or UK or Turkey or somewhere like that, then you go, OK, well, there might be roaming charges.

But if you were clever and you thought ahead, you could have gotten maybe a roaming add-on onto your phone.

If you have that add-on, that's a monthly piece as well.

So you just cancel that.

If you know you're not going outside the EU, keep that money back in your pocket.

And if you do have roaming charges, know how much they are so you can get on top of them.

I think so.

The reason being is you don't want to have that dread, that hangover afterwards that we're talking about.

But also, if you have the money ahead and let's say you don't spend it, well, that can be earmarked for the next thing or the next holiday.

And you're going to feel so much lighter knowing that you're not on a deficit, that you weren't able to budget that bit better.

And the world...

I would love if it was fairer, but it is getting more expensive.

And the human mind, we want things to be a bit nicer and a bit better and not as expensive as what it is.

But anybody who's built a house or bought something or even had a party at home, it's always going to be that bit more expensive.

So I say budget more just to give yourself that breathing room.

It's that it's taking up your headspace.

And until you know for a fact, because you may not be in a deficit, you may have actually been more prudent than you thought.
