As somebody who drives an all-electric vehicle, there are two places I charge. podcast-host

One is at work and one is at the mall. podcast-host

And most people I know, even when we're buying a car, will say one of the most efficient places to charge because usually their level three at the mall is in retail spaces. podcast-host

because they're either level two or three there. podcast-host

So the majority of people I know who drive electric are using retail spaces to charge their vehicles. podcast-host

And it's the ones that are at the residential units that are super slow. podcast-host

So I would say if you go to Valley Fair Mall on the weekend, every one of those EV charging stations is completely occupied most of the day. podcast-host

I see that we've actually had this adopted since 2022, the current level, so I'm wondering if there actually has been feedback from retailers about this problem being presented. podcast-host

Obviously, electric car use is going up, but our codes have stayed the same for the last three years, so what has the feedback actually been? podcast-host

I wanted a little clarification on if we could get in any trouble with the religious carving out of non-residential there based on, I guess, what constitutes a community gathering place. podcast-host
