Um and then I also wanted to ask, I know that some of our developers have actually offered to help with substation development and investment in like this kill and eat model where they're actually building our power with us.

And then I I just uh again wanna thank the staff because I I think that particularly in Santa Clara there is a very diametric dialogue going on about data centers right now.

whether they're um beneficial or not.

And I do want to recognize public input about that because there certainly are environmental considerations, there is electricity uh considerations.

But I look at it when we talk about how much is coming into our general fund and the potential that we have to capitalize on this.

This money then funds our sustainability plans long term.

I mean, this is what can work the the you know complete streets for us.

General fund money is what can put solar panels on all of our city buildings.
podcast-host
Um it's what can give us more electric uh stations for charging our cars.
podcast-host
And so I do think that there's an element of consideration certainly when we

think about where and when a data center and what we have to use, but this is what's gonna fund us to make more sustainable decisions going forward.

And I think that's such a huge element.

If we love and want better education, I we've talked about Loud in Virginia a thousand times, data center alley.

They are like the richest county in the world because of data centers and they have the best schools and they have the best public access and infrastructures.

Um now I don't think we want a two thousand data center model, but uh but I think that a little bit of that when we do it smart and we address the needs of our community, um, we really can be capitalizing on this in a a massive way.
