So I thought, okay, acquisition is the most natural path.
And we've learned a ton in the last three years, because we formally acquired in December 2022, right?
That we managed to six times the GTV in three years, despite not knowing that much about payments at that point in time and having a very good post-merging integration program, keeping the core talent and of course upgrading the talent along the way as well, even though it was the first time for us to do it.
And again, it's based on first principle that hey.
What makes sense.
And one of the major lessons is that I think most people's natural human tendency is let's integrate the teams and structures and whatnot, right?
And think about it, right?
That you should not like org structure is the last thing you should be integrating.
What you should be integrating is mindset, thinking, culture, values, all the things that are below the surface, right?
So that people are thinking in the same way.
You know the folks and whatnot.
