I read his direct comments yesterday at City Council.

And look, we all know there are other options for this franchise.

I think he has stated it.

The governor of Florida has stated it.

Our ownership group has stated it.

But we've we've also said, you know, that we're in an exclusivity period here with Tampa.

We felt like when we bought this team, uh we owed it.

We are the Tampa Bay Rays.

We owed it to this community to see if a deal was possible.

And I think you can hold us to our word that we are doing that.

If yesterday's city council meeting and county commission wasn't a better example of that, I don't know what is.
