It seems he got a bit freaked that it you know, he didn't he despite the fact he dro he travelled hundreds of kilometres with the drugs and cross borders, he because he was already known to basically French and Irish authorities in a big way, um, he wasn't prepared to to
to do the last leg of the journey.
So he called and demanded well w um got an an employee or um well could be a freelancer, but either way a an i completely innocent Eastern European truck driver to come out to Amsterdam to drive the um
the load which had legitimate machinery on it as well, which was destined for Northern Ireland.
So it was in this kind of secret compartment, was it, or was it hidden in in in the machinery?
It was no it was hidden um in a s hi secret uh compartment behind a riv refrigeration unit.
I we've the guards issued videos and stuff like that.

And in fact it could hold more drugs than what was busted and evidence that was later got from um
mobile phones seized from Murphy indicated that he had done at least one one of these runs in the we in the months previous to this, in using the same
hidden compartment.
But um Murphy then fr went from Amsterdam back to Ireland and left this innocent man with the ta who had no knowledge of the drugs they with the task of their perilous enough journey travelling from um Holland, of course, into France then you're going through all those border checks and then all the way through to Ireland.
