But inside, we were able to see that there was a lot of members of the cartel, as we know now, and associates of Daniel Kinahan gathering there.

And Kinahan himself was tweeting away progress reports in the run up to the opening of this gym on the handle at DJK256.

He was complaining at times about the builders, wouldn't have liked to have been the builders, you know, and he was basically going on about their progress.

So they had this very glam party.

There was models and celebs at it.

It made it into the pages of the social magazines on the Costa when it opened.

And you could see as the months were on, these Facebook postings showing like Gary Finnegan and Kevin Lynch were working out.

Dean Howe and Liam Branigan had been in, very well-known names from Dublin.

Daniel Kinnahan himself was working as a trainer and was organising, as you say, these white-collar events in Spain, which were...

you know supposed to be raising money for charity and where he would be a trainer of one side maybe the red crew and Kevin Lynch would have been the coach or the trainer of the blue crew and they would go at one another and it was a kind of a social thing as well and

So that's where he was at.

But it always looked to me a little bit like a hobby.

You know, it didn't you certainly didn't get the sense in 2012, 2013, how big this thing was going to become, because, of course, boxing has always been part of organized crime.

It's always been linked in.
