The mayor is involved on the negotiation side.
That's the way that I frankly had set it up years ago that it would be me, uh the the mayor of Tampa, Eric Hart, TSA, and then the county administrator and and chief of staff of the of the city.
However
You gotta be sensitive to the fact that city council members are the ones that vote.
Yeah.
That they're the ones that push the button, both as a a City of Tampa uh council member and also as a CRE board member.
So that's why the rays to their credit or this ownership group to their credit have frequently been briefing and updating the rays.
Every step of the way.
Um but I think at times
There's always seems to be a rub between city council and the mayor.
And the mayor, right.
Irrespective of who the council members are and who the mayor is.
So it's not saying this this council member's right, this mayor's right or wrong.
It's just an inherent rub because the structure is different.
And again, in the in their government, it's a strong mayoral form of government, unlike ours.
And so I think some of those issues uh have just manifested themselves during this discussion, but they're present in all the City of Tampa issues.
So I think you see some of that that's you know that you it's present now and then you have the legitimate questions that need to be asked.
And so it some sometimes it gets kind of cloudy.
