I mean, that was my commitment when I ran.

And that was my commitment when we talked last, is that we were going to help make sure people understood what lessons we needed to learn going into this election.

And we'll continue to do that.

The best thing that people can do, we've got 220 days until this election, is keep showing up and voting.

If you want to stop Donald Trump and what's happening in this country right now, it's not enough just to show up at protests and rallies.

DNC Chair Ken Martin says the investment is part of efforts to get the party more involved in voter registration.

In the past, he says, Democrats have relied on nonpartisan groups barred from discussing the party's candidates or core values.

Directly involving party leaders from the national to local level will allow volunteers to better connect with voters that Martin says Democrats have taken for granted.

Republicans outnumber Democrats by more than 300,000 voters in Arizona.

People are watching this split-screen situation of mass protests in Tehran and mass protests in Minneapolis.

And, of course, they're looking to see how a president handles each of them.

And while you really can't compare the substance of these two very important issues happening in different parts of the planet, you can, I think, look at the rule of thumb that Donald Trump brings to it.

And I think the rule of thumb is pretty simple.

If you're protesting against a regime he disfavors, he opposes, then you're heroes.

If you're protesting him or his policies, then you're illegitimate, you're radicals, you're radical left lunatics.

In the face of state-sanctioned violence, we have organized and protected each other.

That is what Renee stood for.

She died because she chose love and solidarity over fear.
