DaCosta is a consensus builder, Ozzie, a consensus builder.

But neither of the head coaches have had any power here.

Bishotti made his money in hiring and believes very much in the silo system.

So he's got DaCosta's scouting silo, and he's got the football silo that's hard-bought, that's the individual game stuff he can decide on.

But...

DeCosta will build a consensus about a draft pick and all the coaches are there, of course, but he's the one who's in charge of the final pick.

Ozzie was the same way.

And, you know, I think Bishotti said it well in the last press conference.

I don't know if you guys saw that or not when he was talking about John Harbaugh being, you know, being fired is that somebody asked him, will Lamar Jackson have any power?

And he goes, he'll have a say.

I want his opinion.

I want to hear from my star players, but he won't have any power.

I'm making the choice.

I mean, I don't think he's been, I would not say his involvement in the draft has been particularly successful.

So, like I said, I mean, Eric DaCosta is the final word on draft picks.
