That's the way the silo system works in Baltimore.
I don't think we'd want to change it to be very, very successful here.
The Ravens, the Packers, and the Steelers, by far the most successful drafting teams.
over the last 30 years.
So they're not looking to make a change to that.
And I did hear, this is a Tony Grossi thing, so I've got to take it with a grain of salt, that Harbaugh was asking for much more control over personnel decisions.
I think that'd be a mistake.
I mean, I think he'd be another guy.
You really want to have somebody who's a strong personnel guy working side by side with Harbaugh, but not a strong coaching system where he reports to him.
Gruden and who are the other coaches you've had that Belichick of course Gruden and there's one other that is well known for having it it's going to drive me crazy until I think about it
So I think in terms of how the game gets managed in a general sense, I don't think it's a problem.
There have been big missed opportunities with the Ravens in two very big games in the last decade.
with the Steelers, including the finale here.
Now, the big thing, and I've asked Harbaugh this question directly at camp before, is do you have a code word for a player to go down at the one-yard line that you can put in the huddle?
He goes, yeah, we have that.
We also have one at the five-yard line in case there's momentum involved and this and that.
And then they scored a touchdown with 220 to go in the final game where they should have probably taken a knee.
And you can demonstrate pretty clearly that they gave up some win probability on that play
Where I think some of the failure comes is that Harbaugh has not demanded that his players understand the game management components on field as much.
And that's really important, by the way.
