I had some natural ability.
I would say the first time that I got in the ring and really got to have an understanding of
pro wrestling to its core as well.
I did a title match with, with Nelson Royal and, and, and it wasn't just about the title, right?
There was a lot of other pieces that went with it.
And fortunately for me, before I ever stepped into the ring, into the, into the, uh, the WWE or WWF or whatever they call it now.
Um, I have a, I had some experience and some psychology into how
how success was gained inside of pro wrestling.
And a lot of it has to do with locker room and relationships.
And then, of course, it's the entertainment world that you have to grasp onto.
And then there's the actual physical ability to be able to go in there and do the things that we do day in and day out.
There's just a whole lot of pieces that most people don't see that relates to success.
You know, in MMA, obviously, there's character and different things that you go into, but the major piece is going and winning.
And if you go in and you do that, man, you know, you're going to be there no matter what.
In wrestling, man, it is so much more complicated than that.
Because, yes, you do have the physical part of it where you get the crap beat out of you.
But then you've got to go into all the psychological stuff that goes on in the background and being able to remember certain things, being able to put things together that make sense.
And so it was so much more.
So I think for the very first time, I was able to get a grasp of that.
because Nelson obviously is one of the legends in wrestling goes way back when I was able to, to grasp a lot of the psychological stuff that he understood and how he became successful in the world that he lived in at that time.
