And fortunately for me, and again, this is just the level of talent that you have
in the WWE is that everybody knows what their job is and everybody has to understand the only way you get that job done is that all of you including the referee and the organization have to work together
in order for you to reach the goals you need to reach.
And so I never really steered off of that.
Sure, I've had frustrations and things that made me angry at times, but as a grown man and as a professional, my first thought was to go and sit down and start trying to work out and talk through it to try to get us in a better position to be successful.
I think the way, and thank God,
I was way too aggressive and had way too much testosterone flowing through my blood to be professional in pro wrestling, to do everything I needed to do to be successful.
I did not have those qualities.
So being able to jump into the world of fighting, because early on in wrestling, I struggled when I was with Nelson.
And I got myself into situations because of my temper.
And so there's no way, and you know this too, I don't care how tough you think you are, if you're walking into the WWE or anywhere else that's pro wrestling, if you think you're going to walk in there and push people around, they've got another plan for you.
It's not going to happen.
So I think the way things happen for me helped me be able to have the success I had in WWE because going through the MMA world, I got to get a lot of that out of me and a lot of that macho-ism and all that stuff I got to put into the fighting world.
And then I got to a point to where I started to simmer down and become more of a professional and had the opportunity to really cross over into pro wrestling with WWE at that time or F.
to be able to go in and be successful there.
If I would have went in any earlier than that, like I did early on in my life, I would have ran into a lot of situations because I wasn't able to control my temper.
It wasn't because I know it's a little bit different, but when you're preparing for a fight, you're literally going in and sparring.
You're not trying to hurt one another.
Like you're literally sparring and you're laying punch, but you're not turning them over.
