So people came and went from the scene as they pleased.

And the summer tour of 1995 would be the band's last, nearly two months of 26 shows, and it went wrong from the start.

It opened on June 15th at an airfield in Highgate, Vermont.

Vermont, where thousands of people turned up without tickets and pressed against the gates until they were opened.

And Dennis McNaily, the band's publicist, said, quote, they were going to come through the gates no matter what.
