And it returned me quickly back into that dark spot that I was at at ABC.

So you saw the ending.

It was the Kaiser Soze moment where once the headlines came out, I realized, oh, is that why my emails were ignored?

What were my Good Morning America hits?

Pull those numbers.

Why was I told about not wearing jeans to a rap concert as opposed to the rodeo and rock concert that my white colleagues were told?

All these different things started popping up into my head.

And it really took me to a dark, dark spot that I wrote about that I think you have there.

Once again, it tested the progress I had made up to that point in recording.
