Um, you know, these guys know they're struggling.
They're, you know, coming out doing early hitting.
They're they're doing everything they can to get it back together, but they are remarkably self aware sometimes when you talk to them and they're like, Yeah, I know I suck right now.
Like I I know I need to put it together.
So I do appreciate the honesty from them in times like that.
Um, but I'm not exactly gonna go around telling them um how how much they're struggling.
Yeah, I I think you just have to.
Obviously for so much of Bruce Bochi's tenure, probably until he ch changed the lineup in Sacramento a few weeks ago.
Um, it has been, you know, Marcusinian lead off, Corey Seeger, uh Two Hole, Joyce Garcia in the cleanup spot, like
This it's been consistent since twenty twenty three, even through last year's struggles.
But um early this season, even before they fired Donnie Eckert, Miss Boggy started, you know, moving things around.
He first moved Marcus Simeon down to the five hole and now he's all the way down to the nine hole.
Um and that's what you that's what happens when you have a four ninety nine OPS, you know.
Again, Marcus Simeon, another guy who's well aware of his uh struggles at this point to the season and and working to fix things up, but
I think Bruce Boshi, you know, he's a Hall of Fame manager.
He's doing everything he can to get the most out of his guys because
you know, like to show he has belief in these guys, which is why Marcus was still leading off for so long.
Um
And and I think that's just what you have to try to do.
