I guess it could be kind of mean.
Yeah, he he's a kid who brings a lot of passion and enthusiasm to a lineup.
He's uh he takes a lot of walks, draw like works good counts, plays really good defense.
He had a diving play out in Chicago yesterday that he did that all spring training.
Um he was really a guy.
He really impressed the football league last year.
That's when he kind of landed on Bruce Bochi's radar.
They got he got him an invite to big league camp, uh, where he I think he ended up with like a fourteen hundred
Through like 25 Pactus League games.
He was one of the most impressive prospects we've seen during spring training.
So it recently, I think he only played eight games at AAA after repeating the double A to start the year.
And he's just been a breath of fresh air.
A guy who, like I said, fouls off a lot of pitches, sees a lot of pitches, can take his walks, didn't get a hit yesterday in the Rangers win.
But you he really made an impact um in other aspects of the game.
And I think that's exactly what the Rangers need right now, especially Evan Carter's on the injured list as well as Corey Seager.
Uh they need a another outfielder, another left handed outfielder.
Uh he's perfectly fit that mold among uh any uh of the other prospects they could have called up here.
Yeah, I think just really the biggest thing with DeGram right now is to not pump in one on one uh every pitch.
Um and that was something he really talked about in spring training was um, you know, backing off on the velocity and when he needs to.
Um not really trying to go all out every pitch, but you know, dialing it up when it needs to, sitting ninety-six, ninety-seven um and kind of cruising because he's Jig up the ground and he's got the elite ball placement, he's got the slider that it works really
