It was actually one of the things I had on my list of notes that I

in preparing for this.

So it's a big and obviously it's a growing issue as technology continues to evolve and emerge.

And when we're talking about giving people the opportunities to live their most independent lives, technology exists that really enhance what's possible for people with physical or emotional and developmental, excuse me, intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We kind of have two broad buckets.

We have assistive or adaptive technology, which assist people in doing things and getting around.

And there's also monitoring technology, which means that people, you know, from a workforce perspective, it can help extend the workforce by using technology in the monitoring role.

Um, that can, um, sound an alarm or send an alert when somebody needs assistance, um, to bring it, to bring in a response, but that doesn't have to be somebody necessarily onsite, um, 24 seven.

And so, so it's got that kind of a thing.

Um,

You know, so a number of the self-advocates who were testifying in the legislature this past session spoke through assisted devices.

They, you know, spoke with a computerized voice based on inputs that they give.

And the way that they give inputs is, you know, you can do eye movement.

You can do typing.

There are many ways that that can be done.

And so this is a growing and emerging field.

it really expands people's possibilities and how they're able to function, the things that they can do by themselves or on their own.

And so, and something that Arm has been involved with promoting in many of our conferences that we put on, we often will have a technology showcase where we'll have providers of technology come and showcase some of their products and so forth.

And it's just amazing the kinds of things

You know, I give credit to our people's ingenuity, the things that they come up with and how they can help solve people's problems.
