I'd be like, life is great.
I'm going to say yes to everything.
But it wasn't sustainable because it was kind of coming from an emotional place.
We want to wait for that clarity.
And it sounded like you reach this place where you notice the consistency and OK, something's got to change.
It's coming from clarity versus like the intensity of emotion.
The emotional regulation is a really big thing.
I also used to really struggle with emotional eating, binge eating, eating disorders.
A lot of emotional types have these intense up and down cycles.
So that also is coming back to the conversation around these tower moments and
rebuilding and sometimes feeling like you're restarting all the time with emotional regulation, I find that dissipates quite a bit.
So if you ever found yourself making decisions from a really emotional place or relationships can feel more toxic, more intense, more exciting, but also so devastating.
Like looking back on past relationships, I feel exhausted thinking about what I used to do.
I'm like, how did I even sustain that?
That just sounds so overwhelming.
But I would always say peace feels like a flat line.
In my 20s, I was like, I don't like peace.
