Oh, totally.
I remember about you, that I bonked somebody in the speaker's chair.
Not true.
Not true at all.
I heard that one.
Yeah, no, no, not true.
Speaking of the Speaker, is he too grouchy?
No.
I know he gives the appearance of being grouchy, but, I mean, people stereotype very easily.
And I was really interested to read a piece by Verity Johnson where she said she was phoned by Gerry Brownlee and she thought, oh, God, he's going to complain about my columns criticising the government.
So she made an assumption.
No, he said, I'm really concerned that you've lost faith with the democratic process.
Come down to Parliament and see, you know, how we do things and maybe get a deeper understanding of how politics works.
And she said she didn't have a road to Damascus.
Oh, my God, democracy is working, thriving, live and well.
But she said she'd never.
She enjoyed the freebie.
No, she'd never spent as much time with somebody who genuinely listened.
He actually listened to what she had to say and what she was thinking about democracy and what her friends were thinking.
And she said, I had all these stereotypes about what he was like and I realised it was on me looking at boomers thinking that they think this about our generation.
