I'm stunned by it.
There's been times when I've watched Liverpool over the years and I've thought to myself, they've given up here.
But I've never actually heard anyone confirm it and say, by the way, we fucking gave up.
Like, for that to happen on someone's watch, you have to wonder what's going on.
Because that beggars belief, that for me, I think if you've got strong leadership, and I agree with your point, Neil, I don't think it's just the manager.
I think when they come to do this review, everyone should be in the fucking firing line.
Everyone should be under severe questioning about how they've got into this position.
And by the way, you know what the owners did around the tickets and stuff, none of that helps.
Because all of a sudden, it feels even more fractured.
And I know they wrote back on that a little bit, and people will go, oh yeah, let's give them a bit of credit for that.
But even that was almost like, it was another one of them, they're thinking, how far can we take the piss again?
There's always been a little bit of that from them where they've always felt, it's always felt to me, the thought, well, if we have to roll back, we'll roll back.
But I don't like that attitude.
I hate that, that can we take the piss attitude, which I think has come from them quite a lot over the years.
And listen, yeah, they have rolled back on stuff, but that does always wind me up when it's always about what can we get away with?
I've never liked that.
And I think you've had a sense of that this season from the people in charge.
There's the stuff around the direction of travel with...
with buys and with purchases and it hasn't quite worked and then you've got the manager and as i say he can talk about turning things around but if you've lost the fans to this extent and it's not just online as we said it's in the ground now and it's it's just it's every single week you worry about what next season does look like if he still is there like how does he navigate that how does he navigate the first five or six games if they have a poor result and i'm not in the habit of just throwing league seasons away
