Um I get why Jurgen Klopp was like, I want to renew Jordan Henderson.

I because I ended up being that guy when when we could have renewed renewed Robo out, you know, and we were all talking about leadership within the squad and lacking and um you know, Chelsea have just went out and brought in Jordan Henderson.

I can't imagine that he's probably gonna get too many games.

They didn't buy him for his legs and his and what he can do on the field.

Of course they did in certain s circumstances, but the main reason was probably for the trading ground for when they're sitting around having dinner and lunch, when they're traveling, how he can bring through, you know, young players

And and help them realize the um the sort of arduous lifestyle of a of a successful footballer.

Um people the peop the people at the club still talk about Milner, you know, in such glowing terms.

And I think Arnes Lott said last season, I you know, I don't know much about the guy, but I hear about his uh standards quite quite quite often.

Um and that's that's the sort of legacy that I want from like older players.

You know, it's not just about people who make uh the team tick on the pitch for me, it's those sort of players as well.

Um, you know, if Van Dyke ends up having um a worse season than last season, God forbid, I'd still want him to hang around because he's Virgil Van Dyke.

Um and and there's so much value in that.

Um you know, Allison's a different one because he's a goalkeeper and maybe you can't uh you don't know.

You I mean, I heard the manager talking about him not being able to affect the players on the pitch as much.

Yeah, I I I think that I think the players ticking thing is something that's massively been been overlooked and that I think that's where we're lacking, particularly sort of in midfield, you know, we've given all the money to Gravenberg, we've given all the money to Sobisly, and we're still I know it's really early in the season, but we've still got these questions like, Oh yeah, does that really fit structurally and how how we want the the team to work?

Particularly um when Andoni, you know, Ola's the manager and he and he and he wants very specific things from his midfield.
