So I was team Blake until a couple months ago. And like, I was a hard team, like especially last summer when it felt like she was being canceled by him and his like male feminism. Yucky.

He did less wrong than her. And I think when that New York Times article came out of like what of her side, you know, it came out like over Christmas and it was like, oh, my God, the tide, the pendulum totally swung in her direction. It was like so good for her. And then so quickly it all unraveled.

And things got so bad for him after that article. Like, of course, he's going to stop at nothing to get his good name back. Right. So I think now in hindsight, they should, even though things were bad for Blake Lively last summer and she was going through like a period of unpopularity and like, you know, I think that was better than what's happening now.

Because even someone like me last summer, I was like, you know what? Even if she's a diva, I don't care. Like, that's not a crime. Like, now we know. She's not the first, not the last. beautiful woman in the world who's married to Ryan Reynolds and has a perfect life is super down to earth normal.

Yeah.

Yeah. And like, just leave us sort of like in the dust of confusion. And now it's messing with Marvel and Deadpool and all that. And I think the whole industry, like nobody wants to touch this with a 10 foot pole. Like I think that the movie and people forget that there was a movie based on like the most popular book of the last five years.

Like it should have been nominated for that golden globe of like box office movies and like the Oscars of like success. It was so successful. And like, I didn't watch the movie. I did read the book.

Correct, but I will disagree with you on just that point because something that made the book really good is, like, you're reading the book and you think it's a Colleen Hoover love story, like, and the domestic violence, like, kind of is so surprising and also confusing at first that you have to, like, you sort of go through this journey like the main character does of, like, wait, what was that?

Like, was that an accident? Like, and I understood why they didn't want to promote the movie as, like, being about domestic violence because it's not like a spoiler, but it does take away from the experience of, like...

like watching it unfold kind of watching it unfold which contributed to like how it's not so cut and dry at first like something happens and it could have been an accident and then it's just like it's gray and then it's not so I understood why the They wanted it to not be all about that because the book like isn't really like that. So that was something that she did that.

And the studio had said, like, we don't want you to promote it as a movie. So when she did it, that didn't bother me. But I understand how it looks. Right.

But that was, like, him just, I think, being, like, the worst. Yes.

But still, not a sexual harasser, perhaps.

It's part of his grift.

But he still did it.

I think he's sus.

I used to think he was sus. I used to always think he was sus. And then when this actually all started to happen, and I never was like obsessed with her. Like, I never really thought about her. But then I felt really defensive of them. I'm like, this is a nice couple. Like, they don't deserve this. Like, no one does.

And now I'm back on the sus train.

That's the latest. So last week, and we had shared that he had subpoenaed Taylor Swift. He heard that she had these like threatening messages from Blake's team saying like, you need to come out and publicly support me or else I'll like show these messages that you sent.
