You are the first episode going live because today is Tuesday. We are on schedule and I've pre-recorded a little bit of things, but like you're the first episode. We actually have a lot to catch up on because we haven't done the toast since last Friday. Okay. So some of the pop culture stuff we're going to do this week are the big stories from the past week.
What updates do we have on Claudia's maternity leave?
But of course, a lot has happened in the last week. Our dear Claudia has given birth and she is doing great. So I just wanted to update everyone. I know everyone wants all the updates from her and I'm sure she'll share more when she's ready, but it's just been a really lovely week, a quiet week. Par-G week, and we're really happy for Claudia.

Baby Brunson. Spoiler alert, the name is The Brun. That is so funny. Was there a Knicks game on last night? I can't keep up.

I'm a New York guy and I'm like the loser teams, if you will. Although things are starting to go in the right direction, but it's been a long 40 years.

Yeah, there's a clear divide, but things are getting a little bit better. But it's we've had to be very, very patient.
Yeah, well, I'm very excited for today's episode because, Kevin, I call you KFC, like, to my friends. Is that fine?
Yeah, yeah, I get that all the time. Like, it's whatever.
But, like, your real friends call you Kevin.
Yes, my real friends call me Kevin, and then they make fun of me. Like, if I'm, like, being annoying or whatever, they'll be like, oh, KFC's out today. And that's when I know to shut the hell up.
So that's like you're staging KFC.
Yeah. So when I first started.
Can you intro yourself? Yeah. And I do feel like today's episode is really special because it's for the husbands and wives because you're like barstool king. And obviously the toast is for the swirlies. This is going to bring couples together. Yeah, I love to be really excited about this duo.
Yes. I, I work for Barstool. I started Barstool, New York. So it started in Boston with Dave. And then this is back in 2009. He wanted to expand into different cities. The idea was kind of like have satellite cities. And I, I was the first one they expanded out of Boston. And so I started the New York branch and then I started, uh, podcasting at Barstool and, and all that. So, uh, I've been there for like 15, 15 years. Um, and, And yeah, I came on with Claudia back in like 2017 or 18, a long time ago.
So what I was going to say is you've podcasted with Claudia on our show, but not The Toast. I think it was The Breath. Right. So you haven't been on The Toast yet. No. So another piece of herstory.

Which is very exciting. And we have not met, even though you had podcast with Claudia. And I think she did your show, too, like back in the day.
Yes.
So you and Claudia go way back. But this is our first time meeting and our first time podcasting. I'm very excited because you do a lot of sports. Obviously, you work at Barstool, but you do a lot of pop culture, too. You have a lot of hot takes. Totally.
Yeah, at this point, I mean, I am a like a weirdo sports fan, but I would say my content is more pop culture, comedy, stand up, all that sort of stuff. So that was kind of where we made our lane. But when, you know, the playoffs are on and things really get cooking and baseball, I'm a sicko. It's like the Mets are like some weird issue I have. I don't know. It's like ingrained into my DNA.
