Then let me drop some T. In the PFFB, okay? Please. I wanna say. Now, I know everybody's sick of me being cardboard and I and I I'm gonna tell you guys something. And I let me preface by saying like I know I can afford it, yada, yada. But I just like think conceptually what I paid for a pedicure yesterday is insane. And I guess I never noticed because I never get just a pedicure. Right. I always go manicure pedicure, but I didn't get a manicure. I only attempt for one.
Exactly. But you're like, I got a lot of services, so it costs money.
And I wanted to relax yesterday on my phone. So I said, you know, let's get a pedicure. And you know, my toenails were starting to scratch my comforter. You know that feeling? Yep. I got a dazzle dry pedicure. What do you think that should cost? Eighty dollars. Oh my god, you're fucking crazy. I'm clearing. Well you just sort of like took the wind from underneath my story because it was forty nine and I was like, fifty dollars for a pedicure Okay. Fifty
dollars for a pedicure and dazzle dry. So that's like between You do get a little bit that's closer to gel, you know, you're paying for a more premium. You're paying for a more premium polish. Um So fifty dollars for a pedicure in New York City in twenty twenty six, Claudia, I really don't know how it gets better than that.
I guess like and conceptually I I do feel that pedicures pedicures are an undervalued service because like this person's touching your nasty ass foot. Like and I have nice feet, like relative to what I see at the salon. So I think that they've always been undercharging. But you know, I grew up where you know, a manicure costs ten dollars, sometimes eight. Yeah. Oh yeah.
It was like should we go to the place that's an eight dollar manager or it's eleven?
And you know what? The times have changed and I'm glad for the pedicures because that is a service that we should honestly all be paying two hundred dollars for. Like you you would have to pay me two hundred dollars to touch your feet. Like Yeah. So I was just shocked that I got like one service. I guess I'm I never get one service. So I really saw it all itemized out. And now I'm feeling like I shouldn't have shared the story because you said eighty dollars. No, but
I think that speaks to really like the cardboard nature because I guess, yeah. She's cardboarding too close to the sun. Well,
one thing about me is I I do not cardboard when it comes to tipping at the nail salon. I'm like I'm literally a Rockefeller.
