I can help Kevin Byard out a little bit.

I have a pretty good handle on the way Green Bay feels about the Bears and vice versa from having been to both stadiums many times and living a lifetime of Bears-Packers-ness.

They hate the Bears as much as the Bears hate the Packers.

Make no mistake about it.

They're just a little bit nicer about it, the folks in Green Bay.

They just are.

Except for the people who listen to our station before and after Packers games.

And they're like, you guys don't know.

And I'm like, go listen to Green Bay.

As I was walking through the parking lot, I was invited to join a tailgate.

I was invited to break bread, and they knew that I was a Bears broadcaster.

So you wouldn't get that from the folks partying in the lots out at Soldier Field.

It's just a different kind of hate, a little bit more aggressive from the Chicago side.

it's not that bad it's just chicago like the mentality of chicagoans is a little bit more aggressive than the mentality of milwaukeans or green bayans or wisconsinites but i think to the point i think chicago would be inviting if you're not there for the packers if it's another team from another city it's fine because if when you go to seriously when you're like a browns fan or something yeah like if

you're in philadelphia and you come from like miami the dolphins are in town right right no you're right but if you're but if you're a dallas cowboys fan in philadelphia that is a very different story so i had texas plates on my car because it was still registered in texas at the time and our studios are at the wells fargo center which is next to the link because everything is organized in philly there's a few cities like that it's cool but go ahead so they were like leila

cowboys are playing the packers on sunday and your work or cowboys are playing the the eagles on sunday you're working and i was like yes and they're like don't don't park your car in the parking lot i was like okay i'm taking the train that day because texas plates they were gonna key in or whatever else people jumping on top of your car and i was like uh-huh say less here heard and registered

When it's a rivalry, it's just a different type of energy.
