He gets rest.
And so we joke that he's old Grady Jarrett.

But Grady Jarrett was signed to a hefty contract as well.
But at the same time, we found out he had surgery.
And you could tell when we were watching during the season how he was getting back from it.
But he was part of a Bears defense that didn't perform as well as we would have liked to have seen.
Period.
Yeah, the numbers against both the pass and the run prove that.
When you're in the 20s and the low 20s, respectively, that had to change for the Bears, and I think he is also willing to admit that as well.
Yeah, I don't know if I'm as easy on him as you are with the injuries.
I mean, the guy did play in 14 games last year, started four, ended up with 39 tackles.
To me, he was a disappointment.
I mean, yes, the knee injury for sure was a minor procedure there,
over which he did miss a couple of games.
But even when he was healthy, he did not make the impact he needed to make on that team last year, even with the injury, in my opinion.
Yeah, he played the Minnesota game, then he played against Detroit in Dallas, and then he didn't play again for basically a month after a procedure.
His next game was a month later, over a month later, against Baltimore.
