Kevin Hearn did a campaign ad on X announcing that he's running for U.S.

Senate in an attempt to replace Senator Mark Wayne Mullen, who was tapped last week as Homeland Security Secretary.

Hearn, the first candidate to officially enter the race, he's served in Congress since 2018.

Should Mullen be confirmed, Governor Kevin Stitt will appoint someone to finish his term, which ends next January.

Oklahoma law prohibits that person from running in the next election.
