So it kept us together probably an hour, an hour and a half longer every week.

If you add that up, it's like another day together compared with some teams that were just getting in the cars and going home.

So we were a pretty close unit.

All sorts of people come up to me now, admitting all sorts, you know, from Brute 33 to your slippers to Shoot Magazine.

One guy came up during the book tour last week and he came up and he got a poster of me showing him how to play football.

I did a baller wall on Kevin Keegan with the Echo, which ran every week.

But this was a different one.

It was in the shoot, I think.

And he came to me and he was a man of about, he'd be about 10 years younger than me.

And he said, you know, you taught me to play football.

I said, when did you come to track?

He said, no, he said, from your charts.

He said, well, just very average.

He said, I didn't have any confidence.

He said, I took your chart.

And, you know, when you do them, you don't think people are going to study them that much.

But it had that sort of effect on people.

So, yeah, I mean, I had my fan club in the back of a secondhand shop.

I could walk from my digs.
