And they did a hell of a job.

We outshot them about... Gerber played for them in nets.

We outshot them about in the 50s for sure to, I believe, low 50s to about 28.

And I mean, it wasn't a... The Swiss were smart.

We just couldn't score.

We got caught up in bringing a lot of the same guys back from the World Cup of Hockey after the 2002 Olympics.

And the other part that happened was there were some guys that showed up injured.

And, you know, God bless them.

You know, they wanted to play so bad and they felt they could still be affected.

I'm talking about top players that showed up injured.

And you can't, it doesn't matter how good you are.

If you can't, you know, unless you're Mark Messier or Gretzky or McDavid, you can't play injured at the Olympics.

And so that and the fact that we're an older team and we're in a slow, I mean, that, you know, but at the end of the day,

The loss to the Swiss forced us to play the Russians in the quarterfinal game.

And, I mean, it was 2-0.

But if it wasn't for Bergeronets, it could have been like 8-0.

They just, Ovechkin and Kovalchuk were having a field day with our slow team.

And, yeah, a big disappointment.
