I said, well, you know, because there are factories still producing cassettes.
And she said, wait, you mean no one's stopped making, they're still in production, people are still making?
That's the most exciting fact I've been able to communicate to people, is that cassette production has never stopped.
so that you could make one if you wanted.
If you said, I'd like 100 of these copied, please, somebody would do it.
Somebody out there near where you live will do this for you.
And worth doing, worth keeping, worth keeping that twin deck just in case, just in case Tim and Kev produce a cassette that you could play on it.
Worth keeping, Decca, for example, worth keeping those huge presses on which vinyl records were printed.
Because yes, ladies and gentlemen, they're all back in production.
And my daughter's partner works in that world for a company that makes vinyl.
They ring up bands and they say, would you like us to reissue ACDC's whatever?
Or they might say to Linda's Farm, Fog on the Tyne.
Would you like that reissued?
And the bands go, yeah, we'd love that because actually we get royalties on vinyl.
These are groups who were around in the 70s and 80s, well, in the 90s, and who did all these deals with the record companies and nobody talked to them about digital because it didn't exist.
