Well, and the dreaming, right?
I think that we see in Game of Thrones and Song of Ice and Fire, we see Maester Aemon talk about dragon dreams killing all of his brothers.
And we see with Viserys, it changes him in some way.
I think the implication is that Viserys is a dreamer too.
And we see Rhaenyra, who's not one, sees it as part of their power base because she sees how it saved their family and made them effectively the most powerful family in the world.
So Rhaenyra sees it from that perspective and doesn't see it as the sword with no help.
Yeah, well, I think it's a good exercise to appreciate the changes they've made that are better, right?
Because it is easy to be like, this is different than the book.
This is, you know, and there are things that are definitely appreciably worse, but there are things that they fleshed out that I think they did a really good job.
You know, there's certain things where they've hit the themes of,
the books very, very well.
And they deserve credit for that, too.
Ryan Condal is clearly a fan of the show, or the books.
He might have his own takes and his own opinions, and people can disagree with those and think they're bad.
I'm all for that discussion, but this is not a con man.
This is not people that didn't read the books until they got chosen to make the show.
