I think maybe we thought that that kind of thing, like somebody gets hot and they could just reel off a couple majors.

So unless it's like Wyndham this week, it would be hard to sort of feel like that's held up right here this year.

What I would say is what's a more interesting question is, is Birkdale more likely to reward people who are great in history?

There's probably reasons for that in some ways, like Baker Finch.

Kind of got the yips, completely lost his game, trying to hit it longer, felt like he should compete in other majors.

But Arnie, Peter Thompson, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Johnny Miller, Patrick Harrington, Jordan Spieth.

That is a murderer's row of multiple major winners spanning all the way from 1960 to 2017, last time we were here.

What does that mean?

It doesn't probably mean anything.
