I think what would be interesting to me, Andy, too, is that he'd be the only guy other than Tiger who had a big drought, a big stall, and then found it again and won, let's say, three more majors after the drought, maybe four.

And Tiger really only did it with one after the long drought.

And so that's what's fascinating is that most people's majors, other than Nicholas, are compressed into a really small – I guess Gary Player would be –

maybe the other one, but it compressed into a smaller time period.

And if Rory is winning majors into his forties, then that I think makes it a decent case of like, yeah, you're the greatest European of all time.

You, you won all these majors in the modern era and you did it over a course of time when you, you had your absolute peak prime and then your second prime, it makes a decent case.

I just think he's earned the right a little bit to choose a lighter schedule.

If you've won enough times, I still feel like even despite all the changes and, hey, we're going to eliminate these spots, whatever, I think that's an important part of golf's history and tradition.

If you have accomplished all these things, you should be able to pick and choose a little bit of a lighter schedule as you go forward.

You shouldn't have to be the marquee person who's holding up the tour.

It ought to have to sort of

have other people who are you know filling that role and i i just don't quite understand the the outrage about it like no he should be out there like grinding every single thing it was a different time and a different setup when he was like hey everybody should play in all these signature events and people keep banging on him like you're the one who thought up this idea man that that might as well have been like a decade ago in terms of like how much has changed

in the time of golf since then.

We've had a whole league collapse in the sense where now they're going around begging for tax credits to sort of set up the future of their league.

So it's not the same as it was.

I think, look, you don't want to do a victory lap, but I think you deserve a little bit of, you know, kudos here for early calling this, that he would just be a little bit off this year, that we might have, you know, it's really hard to maintain the peak that you had.

I would be more concerned, I guess, the miscut thing.

It just feels a little bit like an anomaly.
