It just doesn't really, as you said at the beginning, the fact that it doesn't have a hole that you're really looking forward to that's coming up I think is a little bit of a downside.
But there is a gettable par 5 on the back.
It does have an interesting sort of close.
The par 5s are late in the rotation, so it's not like anyone is out of it when you can make an eagle late.
I like it.
I wish it had one hole that just felt like, oh, man, I'm so excited to see them play this shot.
But I think it's still a good part of the rotation.

I think no one has ever in the modern game really been better at fixing their own flaws and their own swing than Rory.
You see Scotty having to work through stuff with Randy Smith or people on the range.
Rory's really good at figuring out what's going on wrong with me and finding those subtle tweaks.
And I think that we are sort of trending through like a point in the summer where he's like been playing pretty good, but then had some time off to sort of get really dialed.
And you know how badly like he would love another open championship.

And I think that truly, like, I, I totally agree.
I think that this course sets up better for him than any of the courses this year, uh, other than the masters.
Like, I just feel like the line between like, you know, hitting a good shot that isn't rewarded or whatever, isn't quite as, um, uh,
thin like as it was at shinnecock and so he can get away with like a little bit of loose stuff here and then his talent can make up for like you know what now i'm gonna go on a four birdies and six hole run uh i really think he would absolutely be the favorite coming in i think like one of the other things is just his experience in majors there is like just this level of i think he's
You know what?
That's a pretty bold statement, but I don't want to shoot it down right away because if you're saying Rory's got seven more years of being a truly injury-free, hopefully good player, I would bet on getting at least one or two more majors out of that.
