Apparently, like,

you can get involved and help hang lights up or something.

He was like, I'm not really sure, but I'm going to go there.

I was like, I'll come with you.

And so that's how I got into events, essentially.

So I went to the theatre.

And I ended up hanging lights and doing the sound and doing all the technical stuff.

And like I said, there was no technical theatre at my school.

It wasn't taught.

So there was no teacher involved.

I was just very, very lucky that there were a couple of older boys in the school who really knew what they were doing.

And they learned from all the boys before them.

I don't know how it works, but there were a couple of older boys and they taught me how to hang a light and how to, you know, whatever.

And then that was it.

And then, you know, we went from doing that at our school.

Like I said, I went to a very good school and we had 60 plays a year is what we quite thought.

And we would do all of that.

Me and three or four of us would light and do the sound and whatever.

I went to very few lessons at my school.

And I was very fortunate that...
