Because I think any of us who serve the community deserve recognition, but particularly folks who serve so tirelessly um and and really advocate for so much of what makes Charlotte low-confidence

Navarrett was an advocate for racial justice, for women's rights, advocated consistently for the underdog during COVID, was um a real force of nature and a presence out in the community, letting people understand our mask mandate and helping hand out masks. low-confidence
Um she more than just running for the city, she she showed up for people um and and uh was part of a small group of folks who did the first women's march here in Charlotte. low-confidence
