It was the way that you miss someone who's technically right there, but she would stay up late so that she could catch him when he came in.

And she wouldn't even change out of her clothes for that day and into pajamas first because she wanted him to see her at her best.

To see her dressed up like they were dating, well put together, worth coming home to.

And she would drop by his work just to be near him for a little while.

All she really wanted, the thing underneath all of it, all the plans, it was just time with him.
