They're going through different groups of people and basically taking notes and
seeing what they could learn about this alleged situation that was going on during Thirsty Thursday.
It ends up being worth staying out late because Brooke was able to get the name and contact information of the girl that made the claim that she had been forced into intercourse by someone in this fraternity.
And this was huge.
What you have to remember, and it's something that Brooke might not have taken into account, she's doing this in a public place.
there are other people standing around, other people that are hearing the conversation, even if she didn't notice.
It wasn't only people that were in the fraternity that were listening in on those conversations and had moles of their own, so to speak, going around and making sure that she wasn't really infiltrating their little secret brotherhood.
Her own friends were starting to hear rumors
that she was in for it she began receiving threats mostly through her own friends so they were told and they would relay to her if she didn't stop what she was doing something bad was going to happen they're not just concerned for brooke's safety because that was probably the biggest concern but they're afraid that someone is going to get her in trouble and she's going to get expelled because after all she does not have permission from the school to do this the school paper is its own entity
And yes, obviously it's associated with the university, but at the same time, some of these things might be borderline harassment of their own, especially when these are just allegations.
You are innocent until proven guilty.
She wasn't even sure if this woman had pressed charges or what was going on.
And at this point, a lot of her friends were getting concerned.
They came to her and they told her their thoughts and she pretty much told them, I'm not afraid.
I can take care of myself.
And as a matter of fact, she had a plan.
She was going to move out of Jason's once and for all because she was doing better.
She was at a point where she could live on her own.
Not only that, she wanted to be in a place that would make it easy for her to get to campus, not only just a campus, but to the journalism department.
