With everything she had to look forward to, there had to be a phase of emotions and thoughts and feelings that a person goes through in their final moments.
I think about it like this.
There's the survival instinct, having this confidence and hope that you're gonna get away.
to the next phase, to being overpowered with thoughts that you may not make it, but still thinking there could be a way out because we have that will to live.
But then you come to this realization at some point that you're probably not going to survive this.
You lose all hope.
And you're looking into the eyes of your killer and succumbing to the pure evil that they're about to unleash.
But finally, there's the pain.
And that's what bothers me the most.
