The first person that Brooke met up with that day was Steve.
You remember Steve.
They met up at 3 p.m.
and they hung out for a few hours and then they walked to a local Subway restaurant to grab a sandwich.
Then at 7 p.m., Brooke's friend, Biff Elliott, who was from the journalism program, came by her house and they walked together to the softball field for a concert they were covering for the newspaper.
After their work was done, Biff dropped Brooke off at a party which was a couple blocks from her house around 9 p.m.
She went there to meet up with one of the guys she was seeing named Tommy Williams.
They hung out there for a while until about 10.30 and then they left for another party that was being hosted by some of the university soccer players.
They stayed there until about 12.30 a.m.
and then left for Brooke's house.
Around one o'clock in the morning, a campus police officer recalls seeing them as they walked through campus towards Brooke's house.
This was the very last time that they have any record of Brooke being alive.
19 hours later, her brother Bron found her body.
That's a pretty big gap of time.
Before they dug deeper into each individual that she had been with that day, the autopsy report comes in.
It confirms that Brooke had been through a violent attack.
She had multiple bruises on her body and she had been stabbed 13 times, at least
One of those times was in the breast and the others were in her back.
Both of her lungs were punctured and she had been restrained, violated, and strangled.
But the cause of death was bleeding out from her wounds.
