have an opportunity to get up there on the wall and yeah i think it needs to start with the association and the government need to come together and maybe start some kind of grassroots program and that's the only way you could get cricket back in anguilla going especially for the younger generation to always have young players coming through the system and going through to play for leewards on the 15 on the 19 on the 17 onto the senior team and stuff you need to start from the

primary school level and I think that's something that the government and the association needs to look into and try find a way and a solution to start some way somehow and even if they reach out to players like myself you Jamar whoever I know we all would be willing to contribute uh share our knowledge and stuff like that anywhere shape our form like we love the game so much and

I know a lot of the younger players in Anguilla looked up to us and looked up to you as well.

And with you having your coaching qualification and stuff like that, it just could help and progress the cricket in Anguilla.

Yeah, you just gotta start somewhere, somehow, and once you get it, we always, in the Caribbean, I find we always make this excuse of, oh, we don't have enough funds, but,

What are the procedures we're putting in place in order to go out and source for these funds and stuff?

There's so many corporate companies throughout the Caribbean.

When they come to the Caribbean, what we do is say, okay, you've got to contribute in helping the grassroots program and these kind of stuff.

Any little progress is a progress.

You go to ten, five, six businesses and say, okay, we need this and we need that.

But I think the problem is in the Caribbean, we don't.

try to have a plan and a structure in place and say, okay, this is our plan and this is what we're looking to gain from it and going forward and going to these businesses and putting these business plan against and showing them that, okay, this is what we're looking forward to getting out of this.

And once you have a plan and a structure in place, businesses would always try to contribute, especially when it comes to helping

younger kids and stuff like that and even i think angela need to try looking into getting the younger girls as well into cricket because i find in the cabin especially with women's cricket they start at a very late age and that's why it takes longer to progress and stuff like that
