What happens is when they chase these data centers away, they're not going to stop because we consumers are still going to demand that shit.
All that these MB protesters should be demanding is that policymakers write rules to where these things lower the price of energy while reinforcing the grid.
They consume zero water.
And they create sustainable jobs.
Those are the three things they need to be focused on.
So don't stop them from happening.
Demand that your policymakers write regulation.
I bet you a zillion dollars that may increase the cost to the developers.
Those developers will eat that cost.

They'll pass it back through to us as consumers.
We'll pay it as utility shifts.
When I bought Netflix when I first did it, I think I paid $5.99 a month.
I think it's like $25.99 a month now.
They just kept increasing the price as the cost of infrastructure was passed through to us.
That's the way utility works, right?
So we need to stop stopping these things because that is not what America does.
What we do do is we build them safer.
We build them better.
