The first was plumbing.
So we created plumbers.
And the second was gas.
We needed gas in a home to cook with for illumination, to maybe heat water.
But we called those people gas fitters.
We still do.
Second utility was gas.
The third, electricity.
We had to create, at the turn of the century, we created a whole new trade called electricians because we didn't have, we can't put blacksmiths and woodworkers and now you're dealing with electrons.
Let's make electricians.
So that was the third utility.
The fourth was connectivity.
Connectivity then was a copper wire, but now it's fiber.
But that's still a low voltage technician.
That's someone that knows how to operate at low voltage.
The fifth utility is cloud or AI, but now we need a whole nother trade to serve the fifth utility.
AI is a form of energy or it's heavily dependent on energy.
And that's why we're in a major race right now with China.
There's a cloud war taking place where we're trying to build more data centers than them for not only e-commerce and social media and all the cool things that come with technology, the advancements that it does and the benefits it does to healthcare and energy and commercial products, but
It is China's wish to exceed what our capabilities are from a national security perspective, and AI is the tool for that.
