And the city has indicated they're not gonna put in a sidewalk.
They're not
gonna improve the roadway.
So the only way that this is gonna happen is if a developer comes in and develops the land because then they have to put the sidewalk in and pay for it.
The city we we never suggested the city should pay for the sidewalk.
And as far as the the roadway improvements, I mean rough proportionality is a right, not a privilege.
So the developer's gonna have to pay for part of that.
And transportation has already indicated that the city will be able to find funds for their portion of the roadway expansion.
Um
So, you know, w the way I see it is that, you know, if the neighbors, all the neighbors in the area have consistently said they want a sidewalk around around uh the Knuckles Crossing curve, but the folks with the the planning team, they don't want it for reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with safety.
They've got something else.
They they even said they would they would like to see the city buy the property and turn it into parkland.
Well you know I mean
That's great, but you know, meanwhile our client owns this property and she has the same rights as everybody else in this community and all we're looking for is equal treatment.
We're not asking for special favors.
We're not trying to block anybody's property rights.
And uh that's it.
