The infrastructure academy has accomplished several key first year milestones.
It connected one thousand eight hundred and fifty six Austinites to career opportunities.
It enrolled over sixteen hundred particip participants in the Academy and awarded, and this is important, two hundred and ten training scholarships, which you all will remember was a key part of what we were trying to do.
Meet people who need the training where they are.
and in some instances providing scholarships.
I could go on and on about it.
It is
im imperative that for Austin to remain an open, creative, dynamic, and complete city, we have programs like this.
And so I want to say uh thank you to uh Workforce Solutions, where we're joined today by the leadership of Workforce Solutions and the leadership of the Austin Infrastructure Academy, and we appreciate the work they're doing and we look forward to even greater success going forward.
