And it was different because the year before the COVID year, we probably had a better team on paper.
And when we lost almost our entire decor, we really had to go and pretty much reacquire almost the entire decor, with the exception of Logan Dohaniak, who was there.
The other top three D that ended up in our top four were all acquired.
And as you know, trading for D is a difficult thing to do.
And when you had to get three of them, that was a tough year where we went a little bit deeper.
And then we eventually did do this sort of thing as well.
But I guess long answer your question, I think we have a direction on what we think we need to do as we move to January 8th here.
But you always need two people, two teams to make a trade.
And we're certainly going to try to improve our team as we get to that point.
Oh, I look at our roster right now.
I mean, we essentially, from the new rules, recruited three forwards in Dylan Dean, Paul Anderson, and Andrew O'Neill.
It's an entire line.
And then, obviously, we made the acquisition of Max Kern this summer, which...
We did because we got the extra import spot and, you know, we wanted to get an impact player into our top six or pretty essentially a first line center with losing Grayson Sauch.
And so it's almost four forwards we were able to, well, three for sure we were able to add with the new rules.
And then I guess the fourth one is current because of the import spot we gained with the new rules this summer as well.
You know what he has?
I mean, getting to be around Ethan every day, he's a special kid.
And I mean, to say that I could have ever seen him make the gains that he had, I'd be lying to say that I would have predicted that.
But when you see what he does, how committed to the game he is, the off-season summers that he's had every single year,
